Silvermine has significant experience in the acquisition and asset management of distressed assets.  The firm’s principal has led the acquisition of over $1.8 billion of non-performing assets from the RTC and other value-added acquisitions through several private equity companies.

Silvermine provides the broad array of consulting services to its clients.  Past assignments include strategic plan development, market analysis and competition studies, project feasibility assessment, new business development analysis and expert witness for real estate-related matters.

Equity and Debt Placement

Silvermine acts as placement agent for commercial real estate project-level equity and debt.  The firm’s principal has raised $335 million of equity in previous roles and has developed an extensive database of potential investors and lenders.

Management Services

Silvermine has the capability to manage real estate companies in transition or on an interim basis.  The firm’s principal has led a Dutch-listed real estate company and was previously the CEO of a private equity real estate company.

Executive Search

Silvermine will conduct senior level executive search in the real estate industry, both for U.S. and International clients. The searches will utilize the real estate professional relationships the firm’s principal has developed over a 25-year real estate career.
